ABOUT THE TEACHER

Brian’s teaching ability has been praised by his audience on YouTube where his tutorials have amassed over 100 000 views.

Starting from a young age, Brian was awarded a scholarship to undertake music at a prestigious private school in Melbourne for his exceptional skill in music and piano. He was ranked No. 1 in his cohort of music.

Brian has completed the AMEB piano syllabus himself, having achieved only Distinctions and High Distinctions in each grade

He has over 15 years experience as a pianist; well versed in classical as well as modern music and improvisational skills. Despite his accomplishments, Brian continually strives to improve himself as a musician and a teacher.

 FAQs

 

  • It is recommended that your child is able to read notes and has an understanding of simple rhythm. Your child should also be willing to have a consistent practice schedule.

    The minimum age requirement is 9 years old.

  • The age when you no longer enjoy music is when you are too old to learn the piano. Beginners are welcome for adult lessons.

  • The duration for each lesson can be either 30 or 60 minutes. The duration will generally be decided based on the student’s goals, repertoire and concentration span.

  • All lessons are conducted in a Yamaha C5 grand piano studio in Broadbeach Waters, located a couple minutes away from the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
